Lieberman's entry into the government

Since the war in Lebanon in July the Israeli people are turning to the right and this is endangering the stability of Olmert's government which set out to be middle of the road, inclining to the Left. If Olmert doesn't do this he could face elections again soon and then the right wing, probably lead by Netanyahu will be elected.

The problem of some nations not pulling their weight in the battle against terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan.

As long as the Allies, America, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium etc. don't all fight terrorism with the same purposefulness we're never going to win the battle for freedom from the control that terrorist organizations are trying to exert on the local people in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Muslims are welcome in America

Once again we have an example of President Bush being friendly to the Moslem citizens of the US and showing respect for their faith. This shows the foolishness of some Moslem organizations opposing America as if Americans were their enemies. (See the news item in comment 15 about the American youth kidnapped by Palestinians.
