Please note:
I guide the tour in the vicinity of Mea Shearim and part of
the tour is to bring you, the tourist, to a point where you can enter Mea Shearim.
This
is because:
Visitors are only welcome in Mea Shearim if they don't appear to be tourists, this is the wish of
the local inhabitants whiec we need to respect.
Also: Women must dress very modestly,
long skirt, well below the knees, top covered to the neck, arms covered to the wrists. Photographs aren't allowed, in fact
cameras shouldn't even be seen.
My explanation takes place outside Mea Sheaim, on the ourskirts
and I tell you what to look for but I don't enter Mea sheaim with you.
Having a tour guide
shows the inhabitants that you are tourists in which case you won't be welcome.

Pre reservation can
only be made for private tours.
You can join a group tour by calling me the day prior or even on the day
of the tour to find out if a group tour is in fact taking place.
Private tours cost
$150 for 4 hrs irrespective of the number of people.
Group tours cost $10 per person for up to 2 hours.,
more than 2 hours private tour prices apply.
